Algebra II on Khan Academy: Your studies in algebra 1 have built a solid foundation from which you can explore linear equations, inequalities, and functions. In algebra 2 we build upon that foundation and not only extend our knowledge of algebra 1, but slowly become capable of tackling the BIG questions of the universe. We'll again touch on systems of equations, inequalities, and functions...but we'll also address exponential and logarithmic functions, logarithms, imaginary and complex numbers, conic sections, and matrices. Don't let these big words intimidate you. We're on this journey with you!

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

Hi! First of all, excellent video, as usual!

What software are you using for your tablet. I have been looking for something like that to simulate a black board, but I can't seem to find any good ones. Thank you!

I put my answer in a decimal point and when I went to check your answer in this video it gave 2.345 but my answer was 1.9225. which answer is correct?

This example problem seems unnaturally tricky. do you need 10 as the base of the exponent in order to use a _natural log_ (`log_10`, I mean) ? For example, if that was instead `e^2t-3=7`, could you still express the solution in terms of `log_10`, or ...do you ever need to use `log_e` ?

Can you add log to both sides and solve?

My father has taught me a similar technique to solve this kind of equation by dividing two logarithms.

As a high school math teacher, I can tell you he has a terrible teaching style. It's all route formula, no critical thinking or understanding. My warning to you: if you think you're learning here, you're hopelessly unprepared for college.
