Euro NCAP Crash Test of Club Car Villager 2014

Euro NCAP has tested the Club Car Villager in front and side impact at 50km/h to get a picture of the safety level of this heavy quadricycle. The vehicle performed very poorly and showed serious risks of life threatening injuries.

Was there ANY doubt that the crash test was going to look exactly how it panned out? Anyone who has ever driven a golf cart could probably tell you what would happen if you were to hit a wall at top speed with it.
What possible other outcome were they hoping for? The golf cart to disintegrate from existence like it was snapped by Thanos?
Possibly they thought it would spontaneously levitate, or possibly beam itself back to a planet where playing golf seems like a good idea....

This things are designed for campings and golf courses. Not to drive 50kph at a wall.

The cart has a maximum speed of just under 25km/h. So to do a 50km/h frontal impact without this testing equipment to pull it, you'd have to get 2 of the carts and drive head on at each other at maximum speed. So, in case you were wondering, this test shows you that's not a good idea.

Aside from hilarious, high-fps films, wtf is the point of crash texting a golf cart?
I hope no one is under the illusion crash ratings are necessary for those things. Just looking at one puts you at risk of death or injury, any operator basically assumes he'll be dead within an hour of driving one XD.

I don't understand why golf carts should have to be subjected to high speed crash tests! It should be common sense that golf carts are not made for areas of high speeds yet cities allow them to travel on high speed roads!

Why would you test a golf cart, at that speed? It has no chance in hell of ever going that fast. I could see the value in the side impact, as it could be hit by a car, but why test forward impact at an unachievable speed?
