I recently had to replace the cartridge for my Moen Kitchen faucet. It is only 5 years old. I took it out and then took it to Rona. Asked the service man in the plumbing section if he carried this part. He took it to the from me, went away and came back with a new one. He said here you go.. there is no charge as long as you bring in the old one. Wow, was I surprised. I felt really strange walking out of the store thinking the alarms would go off. Thank you Moen for looking out for your customers.
The replacement box comes with a cartridge, set screw, allen key and the piece that goes over the cartridge.

Finally found the right video. Took me one hour to find this and it is so easy to change the cartridge compared to all the other older taps

The water faucet don't have a brand listed? The vanity is full of water and tighten nuts with a basin tool, still water leaks. Shut off water beneath the faucet. Will replace the cartridge if it has one? I am renting and the landlord is out of town for the holidays so I am doing the maintenance thanks for the video it gives me an idea what to expect

I have tried all the Allen keys the whole set. Is hex key different ?

Replaced cartridge but still very luke warm water when turned to hot. Hot water in every other sink
