Use Pokemon that evolve when traded in their pre-evolved forms, such as Haunter, Machoke, Kadabra, and Graveler. A team in honor of all of us who could never get an Alakazam or a Scizor in the first couple gens of the game cause we had no friends to trade with!

Aggron is my.favorite Steel-Type, mostly due to a combination of nostalgia and the fact that he sounds like a train in his cry. 6 year old me loved trains, so Ron has been a constant companion.
My favorite troll strat for Aggron is called "Vibe Check" where I swap in, take a hit, metal burst and swap out.

Let's just hope the opponent doesn't have any Safety Goggles :p

And I'm aware that Powder Snow isn't technically part of the powder/spore moves when it comes to the way it works (I don't think that Safety Goggles prevent it), but it still has the word in its name so I'm including it as an option!

I think an Empoleon could really cover your ground and fire weaknesses. I've found in my own steel team that Scizor and Skarmory both tend to underperform and you could often settle for one or the other. I have Aegislash in my main steel team though so that kind of throws off how you'd build your team. I also run a Trickroom Bronzong lead, Rain Dance Empoleon, and a mega Aggron with Thunder and two or three mons with Gyroball. It is a super fun build for a theme team 😅
