Wolfe forgot something about Aegislash, the speed stat. It was made to be slow where it played to its advantage. Its speed meant it would be normally last, but it would be in its shield form, meaning it would take the hit well. But if it gets outsped, then wouldn't it mean it would get one shot in blade form the next turn? Well, then it would change to blade form to smack someone hard. Next turn, the priority King's Sheild would activate first, bringing it out of that vulnerable form and return to square one. It was really hard to get rid of

0:58 Fun fact - Bronzong is one of two Pokemon lines that gets Levitate AND other abilities. Most Pokemon with Levitate tend to get it as their only option, but Bronzong also has access to Heatproof (if you'd prefer to mitigate its fire weakness) and Heavy Metal (if you just really like Heavy Slam).

For anyone curious, the other Pokemon to experience Schrodinger's gravity is Weezing, and only from gen 8 onward.

Edit: As fabimoor5128 pointed out in the replies, there is a third Pokemon with this property: Duskull - as of receiving its hidden ability. It is just Duskull, though, as Dusclops and Dusknoir lose Levitate for Pressure.

I'll never forget watching 3 Leech Seed Celesteela run out the timer on an official VGC stream... It was a special kind of ridiculous.
That same year I even remember one reverse sweeping a 4-1 match state because nothing on the enemy team could kill it with 2 slots of Leech Seed, Leftovers, and Protect keeping it topped up... That 'Thing' was truly a monster.

Personally, I think they went _too far_ with Aegislash's nerfs. They didn't need to reduce its stats, remove its ability to learn Toxic, AND nerf King's Shield all at the same time... I feel like game developers do that A LOT. A character is a really strong dominating competitive threat, so they come up with a list of ways to nerf it, and instead of only picking one, they just do _all of them._

imo they should revert the stat nerf. Losing Toxic and King's Shield only lowering attack by one stage is plenty.

(Fun Fact: Because of Aegislash's stat nerfs, Aegislash now has a _lower_ defense stat than its pre-evolution Doublade).
