So glad, I found your channel, I started to use probiotics for my son who is on the Autism Spectrum. His teacher noticed a change in his behavior and I just stopped using it and he was back to himself in a few days. Your channel get me a new insight on his condition and probiotics.

So true. Before I purchased the Nemechek ebook, we started a probiotic which affected our son’s gait and broke him out in hives. No more. Seeing great results from this protocol.

Question: if taking probiotics or eating fermented foods doesn't repopulate the gut, how is healthy gut flora restored after taking rifaximin, or any other antimicrobial, that kills off bacteria in the gut?

Would you not recommend probiotics for adhd kids as well? My daughter does not have a bacteria overgrowth. Thanks.

Hi Dr. Nemechek, pretty much 90% of articles, YouTube videos, naturopaths, and groups advise probiotics as to help heal the gut. What are some other options in healing the gut post Rifaximin - l glutamine, pro kinetics etc?

Not sure I agree with this. 2 weeks of taking VSL#3 totally cleared up my brain fog. I had about a weeks worth of headaches and feeling like I was on the verge of getting sick after starting them, then after another week felt really well and clear headed.

Thank you for your video's. My son has a hyper sensitive stomach (functional dypepsia) we believe caused by vagus nerve damage from a very bad intestinal virus. Can you please do a video on a over triggered vagus nerve, he has GERD badly, acid burning his esophagus. Doc, I've been telling lots a people to get your book. I'd really appreciate a video on this subject. I think your Awesome! Thank you!

This is a pretty eye-opening information, however I think people use probiotics inappropriately and hurt themselves because they don’t go slow and steadily increase. Too much too soon can create nasty day off and make people “a peer“ worse at first… but as you pointed out, bacteria and the micro biome of the intestinal tract is very complicated. Growing our own already existing friendly got bacteria is the goal here. I’ve heard there are places that can do gut bacteria profiles on people and let them know which good ones they should be feeding and with what foods to feed them. I’m extremely interested in the subject because I think it is the root of all health problems. Any thoughts you would like to share? Thank you!

@thenemecheckprotocol Should we as adults take inulin WHILE on the refaxamin? Or do we wait until done with the refaxamin to start the inulin? Thirdly after refaxamin is staying away from inulin the best option to reduce sibo reoccurrence?

7:58 I cannot understand why this isn‘t applied a lot more widely. Seems like a no-brainer.
