in real life, animals mostly pets, also choose to run away from their owners/home when they feel like their life is getting shorter. that fact just makes me feel so sad about rocket and also a reason to love rocket.

It’s a natural mammalian thing to do too. Like dogs, cats, wildlife which Rocket still does fall under will go and find a safe and quiet place to pass away if they know they are dying.

This just shows how cool it is how the movies have a lot of details from the comics. Like ego and rockets backstory plus Death. The entire plot of the third movie was this video.

I just pictured Rocket in a nursing home when he’s older getting called down to the dialysis den lol. Tech comes to get him and you just hear a laser shoot. Tech comes back to the den with their hair half burned off: “Yeah rocket said he’s not coming to dialysis treatment today.” 😂

Alluded to multiple times that Rocket Raccoon was a science experiment and had a very short lifespan. Really what's impressive is how long he's been kicking around
