I’ve known two giant schnauzers and they were really great dogs. The man who owned them obviously knew how to train.

I have known a few standard and giant schnauzers and both were incredible dogs. I was 12 years old and one kept me from being beat up by older kids I used to pet him on my way home from school and one late evening I was out and few guys up to no good were looking to cause trouble and harm others but I got lucky I made friends with him. Great breed

I really appreciate how you give a no nonsense overview of the temperament, training requirements, and expectations of each breed that you review. I don't have a dog right now – I have two cats, I blame it on temporary insanity – but I raised and trained Bernese Mountain Dogs for a couple of decades. Because I was in the show ring with my dogs, I got to meet just about every other breed. I have yet to see you not be spot on on the temperament and training needs of each breed that you've reviewed. Lots of respect. ❤

Loved my wonderful Giant, Amazing Grace

My sweet Rott was attacked by GS which turned on me & effed up my leg for life! My boy then protected me but it was a traumatic experience for both of us!
This GS was stubborn & unstable, just like it's owner which I'm sure contributed to its bad attitude. Love your variety of videos Garrett..thank you!!

I wish I had the space for these dogs. Working and herding dogs are my favorite.

These are amazing dogs but ABSOLUTELY NOT for casual owners, I had a working GSD and even as an experienced handler and pitbull rescue worker it was a full time job to make sure he was both getting all his excercise and stimulation needs met while making sure he didn't become overprotective or aggresive, because he had a very fierce snd bold temperament, for a GSD which is saying something lol (you who know, know!). He was gentle and sweet though, we had zero issues with anyone that was introduced properly, but he was suspicious of surprise guests. He passed away earlier this year from cancer, and he is missed and loved.

I'm glad you showed this breed. I've actually always wanted one. But I'm so stuck on heelers that I haven't ventured off to try other breeds to much.

I want one so bad! I currently have a mini and have had several minis over my lifetime. I can only imagine what having a giant would be like

Hey Mr. Wing, DIY K9er here. I'd like to see you do a video on gaining experience with dog breeds outside of owning them. I have a lot of breeds I'd love to get experience with, but with each breed living an average of ten years, how to get a chance to really find your "favorite" or best breed to raise and own without raising them yourself? Giant Schnauzer is potentially on my list.

As a poodle owner, do NOT get a poodle for the looks! Yes, they are very cute BUT they have quite a bit of energy and also high hunting instincts!!!

I’m looking into getting one of those dogs, is there any way you can do a video talking about the training of one?
