Andre the giant was not a real giant. He was crippled and died young.

I have a lot of very tall people in my family. In a time when most people were around 5’ tall, my uncles were near 7’ and my aunts were near 6’. This was during WWII. My sister was nearly 6’ tall in the 3rd grade. Doctors stopped her from growing any taller. She had an incredible lung capacity and became an Olympic level swimmer.
