MOST USED PENCILS - Which color pencils I have used the most of after 1 year! My favourite colors.

Have you ever wonder which colour pencils I use the most? Over the course of a year I have definitely developed some firm favourites among the colours, and you can see these pencils are much more heavily used than many of the other colours. Of course depending on what you prefer to draw, will also determine which range of colours you use the most.

Thanks for your tutorials, they are wonderful! Karen Hull has her comparison charts as downloads without cost. Good advice about buying colored pencils depending on use. As I use up my set of prismacolors, I plan to replace them with FC Polychromos, single pencils. Karen Hull's chart will be handy for that because color names often don't match between brands.

I bought the box set of 68 polychromos, then added about 20 colors to it, but there are quite a few i do not plan on using(more than half), just added what was missing for my style.

Officeworks had the drawing and polys open stock if you ever need to just replace just one ❤️

Fantastic video idea. I have a selection of favourite colours I reach for too, completely different from yours.

Looks to me you need the Derwent Lightfast set. They have more natural colors.

Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy watching you drawing and listening to your process. I'm curious if you you use a crank sharpener? I feel like I loose a lot of the pencil when I use mine and wonder if it's really necessary.
