Thanks mate. For anyone who's having white outlines, mess with the threshold slider on the left before using the fuzzy select tool. The higher it is the more it'll select the color that you clicked, but too high and it may select more than you wanted to remove

Can’t get it work. What am I missing everything outlines I create the alpha channel click on the image and stays white.

This is incorrect, the white background still remains as white pixels just beyond the edge of the arms/hands.
