I got a feeling this does not apply to the free version because I did everything you said and LITEREALLY ALL of the image just went transparent not just the background. EDITED… read my response in the comments

it worked for me, another option instead of moving 'contract/expand' and 'gamma' is moving the points in the bar where it says 'low' and 'high' (well that one worked for me 2 xD)

Once the background is removed how do I have a new background for the same video? When I go into cut or edit pane the bg is dark and if I add an image or another video as bg it doesnt work

Hi, appreciate the quick-bite video! Have you tried it with people though? It’s been a few years since I’ve tried, but using a luma key on people had been pretty awful, especially with blonde-haired people as in the thumbnail image. Has it improved dramatically? (If you’re not sure, please update the thumbnail ;-) Cheers
