In trades, you have to w tap as soon as you hear the hit sound or as soon as the other player goes red from your hit. If you combo them, maintain ur distance and w tapping or s tapping until you obviously lose your combo. You can also try to hitselect, which is to basically let the other player hit you first, and then instantly you hit them back and w tap. If you miss ur 'instant hit' then it's gg.
Hitselecting is a MUST for sumo.

I remember when I switched to java from bedrock, I was so bad at java (decent at bedrock but I didn't know basics and stuff) I thought everyone in bedwars was hacking

Java is basically the competitive mode of Minecraft and when your good at java, you'll be excellent at bedrock

theres diffrent mechanics, recipies and of course... like 10x more tryhards, but good that you tried

ur actually really good for bedrock main, normally they cant aim at all due to like the mouse movement being slightly different and the movment/velo being off

I know Java is very hard.. that's why I don't try bedrock edition..cuz it's soo ez to get single win..

as a decent java player when i tried bedrock i was kinda good and able to hold some combos on hive and zeqa but i only stopped playing because i couldnt sprint strafe without holding button hlp i may consider playing bedrock if one of u can help me
i really like bedrock physics and kb on servers and overall pvp mechanic so i want to play but then again no sprint strafing without holding
