How would FSD fare in full gridlock when you need to get over? I’ve noticed especially out towards LI, if you have to get over, no one is going to LET you over, and you have to force your way into a lane. Curious how the FSD would handle that

I'd really like to see a range test under regular NYC driving conditions, not exceeding 35MPH.

Mercedes is the first automaker to sell level 3 autonomous cars to U.S. consumers
AND they take liability if things go wrong.

Now compare that to Tesla, who has been claming to be FULL self driving for how many years and not only aren't they level 3, they put liability fully on the owner/human behind the steering wheel.

How's your range in NYC? What's your average Wh/mi and do you ever find yourself exceeding Teslas range estimates?

It makes sense it crossed three lanes of traffic early so it could turn left later. In November and December with tourists coming for the holidays there can be brutal traffic where you need to get over as quickly as possible across multiple lanes or you'll be blocked. I'm curious how it will do with blocked inspections and risking blocking crosswalks with crawling traffic, that's a real test for all NYC drivers.

You must be driving on a holiday or very early.

we are already a a point were 100% robotaxis would result in less traffic, faster overall arrival time and less deadly accidents.
we are at that point were the robotaxi just needs to master handling stupid human decisions.
