How to Test Capacitor with Multimeter | Simple Way to Check Capacitor is working or not

In this video tutorial, we will guide you to find out if your capacitor is working or not.
To test the capacitor using multimeter, first check the continuity of multimeter, then place negative probe of multimeter to negative pin of capacitor and positive probe of multimeter to the positive pin of capacitor. If you see any changes in the multimeter readings that means your capacitor is working otherwise your capacitor is damaged.

Hi, i have 1000uf 16v electrolytic capacitor. My multimete is set on diode/continuity mode. At first it does it beeps and disaappear in 1 second then the number in multimeter goes up but takes about 8-10 seconds to reach the max digit and returns to 1. What does that mean?
