How to Test a Capacitor with a Multimeter

How to quickly test a capacitor with a Fluke multimeter.

I was worried I needed a $300 Fluke to do this test, but luckily my $20 beater does it. Etekcity Digital Multimeter MSR-A600 has a capacitance setting. This video saved me $500.

Unfortunately, this type of test can only be done on an expensive multimeter. Any digital multimeter under $25 will not have the proper settings to check the MFD rating of a capacitor.

If its a multi layer ceramic core it WILL NOT read 30, looks like one
