Top 10 Most Dangerous State Capitals.

Today we look at the state capitals with the highest violent crime rate.
I have this issue with state capitals that suck.
My view is that a state capital should be the best freaking city the state has to offer. Honestly, it is the state's most important city. They should be doing whatever they can to make their city a shining example of a beautiful state.

As a Maryland resident, all I can say is: thank God Baltimore isn’t our capital!!

I'm pleasantly surprised that my hometown, Richmond, VA, is not on this list considering it was named the 11th most dangerous city last year.

You know it's bad when people leave Trenton for Philadelphia.

I live in Albany, NY, which has a terrible violence issue. I would say your assessment of Albany is very accurate. History, architecture, cultural and arts scene, healthcare and higher education are all excellent.

It's pretty sad that as an NJ resident I view Trenton being number 4 as a victory.... Well at least it's improvement, it's been a long time since they've been out of the top 3 on these kinds of lists.

The reason capitols are so dangerous is because of the extremely high crime rate in each of them: that's where the politicians are.

As a New Jersey Resident, you’re absolutely right about Trenton, NJ.

“…the triangle of bad decisions…”. I nearly shot soda out of my nose - and I’m drinking a beer! 😂

I haven’t even clicked on the video, and can confidently assume that Hartford is sure to be on the list. So glad I never have to go there anymore.

I'm from CT and agree about Hartford. As long as you have the same politicians in charge, crime will always be high. So much beautiful history. You need to do a list, with history as a focus.

Charleston, West Virginia is a nice town ruined by the presence of Union Carbide. Whole town reeks of battery acid.

Indy and Springfield both surprised me, and I'm also surprised Harrisburg isn't on this list, that looked pretty rough when I drove through a few years ago.

CT here, Hartford sucks hard and is getting worse every year. Not good things. We need The Whalers back pronto.

People in Jackson MS go to Mogadishu to get away from the problems.

Albany is beautiful and the surrounding area. However crime has gotten ridiculous there
