The 10 MOST DANGEROUS Places You Can Live in the United States in 2021

It's crazy that in today's America so many places are still so bad.

It’s 2021 everyone! Yay! Hopefully this year has far less drama and violence than we saw in 2020. But this is America, and many of us don’t know how to act like adults, so I highly doubt things are going to be dramatically different. But we can only hope some of us come to our senses.

You may not know it by looking outside your window, but crime in the United States is actually improving, and by quite a lot. Since a peak in 1991, violence has hit a low that we haven’t seen in a long time. Major crimes such as murders and attacks are down 74% since 1990 and property crimes are down by 71%, too.

You could do a whole video on the plummeting crime rate, but experts say there are a few reasons crime has gone down - our population is aging, we’re consuming less alcohol, the economy had been improving, and people have more guns.

Plus, cell phones have apparently been helpful in making people safer. And anti-depressants have had an impact on lowering crime too, believe it or not.

Anyways, while you may not think we’re safer, we are. But, the states we’re going to talk about are far less safe than everyone else. We’ll talk about where those places are and why they are so crime ridden, and hopefully shame people into behaving. Actually, no that probably won’t happen, come on now.

We got special permission from the local police chief - who said we can hop in this here police cruiser and take a spin around the block a few times. So, buckle up everyone, it’s gonna be a little but rough - we’re driving through the most dangerous states in the whole country in 2021!

There is no respect for adults anymore because parents stopped making their kids respect adults. It started with calling them by their first name. When I grew up everybody was mr. And mrs. And in the South it was Sir and ma'am.

Hey how about when parents made their kids held accountable. I could expect a slap in the head and an iron hand. We were pissed but hey we respected people and learned how to take care of ourselves. We were told you'll appreciate things you want more if you EARN them yourselves. Worked for me and my family. I am quite successful. My family was not rich but our parents wanted us to do better than they did.

I think it all comes down to parenting. I am a senior who was raised with high morals, unlike young people these days who seem to not know the difference between right and wrong. It all comes down to what was taught at home. Those who had good parenting were those who succeeded in life regardless of their circumstances in life.

The warm weather theoretically plays a part in crime. More people come outside when it’s warm, creating more opportunities to commit crimes and for tempers to flare. It’s an unfortunate truth.

Illinois should be on the list because of bad places like South Side Chicago, West Side Chicago, some parts of Downtown Chicago, Rockford, East St. Louis, Danville, Kankakee, and Springfield are all bad and dangerous places to live in the state.

I live in St. Louis and can say that the reason for all the crime is single mothers having children they don’t care for or want just to get on assistance and these kids grow up never knowing love, empathy or the value of human life. They don’t see waking up alive everyday as a blessing but more as a curse.

People need to stop the materialistic lives they’re living. In my opinion things started going downhill when Mom had to go to work, and the increased numbers of single parents. Sandy

I live in mobile, Alabama. Its okay here for the most part. There is a few hoods you don't want to be walking around at night at. The main bad thing here is the traffic honestly.

I guess it's a trade-off to deal with snow and the most expensive groceries in the nation to be able to go out and not be shot!

Here in Seattle it's bad. Junkies don't get arrested, using the street for a urinal, and homeless everywhere.. The situation is grim with no improvement in sight.

I reside in the city and one day I was in the corner store and a gang fight broke out across the street from the store. The owner licked the store and phoned the police. The police asked how many shots were fired and the storekeeper said none and that they are fighting with lead pipe's and the police told him don't call them until there's several shots fired. The police eventually came to break it up.

"you don't leave your car door unlocked, you dont leave your windows wound down" the words of someone that has never been in a real dangerous place, where the advice is, you have to leave at least a car gap between you and a car in front when stopping, so you can around it and drive away instead of getting car-jacked.
