Using Windows 8 System Restore

In this video I take a look at how we can use Windows 8 system restore to take our computers settings back to and earlier point in time should we run into problems.

In other videos on the channel we looked at setting up Windows 8 system restore and then how to create a restore point. This video will show how that all comes together to help protect your computer and its settings.

ATTENTION : IF YOU3 IN WINDOWS 8.1 IT WOULD TAKE FOREVER TO LOAD LIKE A WEEK SO IF U DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN HOLD THE SHUT DOWN KEY AND that's it

my computer settings and options along with the system is very different from yours and because of that it was really difficult for me to relate and follow you step by step so i decided to create a restore point and delete a lot of files that were -useless-

You RUN through the instructions like it should be second nature for everyone. If I knew all this I wouldn't need the video.

I was hoping to get some recent episodes of a TV show and ended up downloading something called "Vgrabber". I cannot get it off of my computer! I did manage to reset Firefox to it's original setting but I was not able to with IE. As for the control panel -> uninstall program, it's not listed. But it still shows up when I open up IE! I cannot figure out how to get rid of it! I made the restore point like it showed but I wasn't able to make it exactly when I wanted (before vgrabber). Can you help?

I had that same problem. I called up Dell and they had to send out a tech to fix it. Something happened with the "motherboard"(?). It happened twice within six months of doing doing a system update. They said it didn't download something critical within the update (I forgot what). I have a inspiron laptop.
