So if I am correct, if I replace my old hard drive with a new one, I should be able to restore the Windows 8 operating system to the new hard drive with the USB Recovery I just made when I boot up in the bios settings to USB. It should reformat the drive and re-install the drivers. Thanks!

If you got a recovery disk from manufacture will it have the windows 8 key?

My Windows 8 needs a recovery but if I do all the things you said on my Windows 7 would it work and will it still be Windows 8

Does this have all the other options like command prompt and all that or just system restore?

why is that when i check the "copy the recovery partition to the recovery drive" it then ask for a 8gig usb stick. if i dont check it, it only need 512 meg. what is the differences? also i cant seem to make a recovery DVD with this method. it only ask for usb. Thanks you
