I'm currently going insane because my laptop can't keep it's Wifi connection and I'm failing to connect my desktop to the LAN while also the fans on that thing alone are ear torture.
Thanks to this video I am happy to tell myself that the problem isn't some trivial software issue multiplied by my personal incompetence but actually space radiation and quantum tunneling.

The other day my brother said that the way everything is connected is none other than magic.

I started breaking down the layers and history regarding the OSI model and later TCP/IP. He asked further, how does that make it so I can access any website hosted anywhere in the world? I said that for that we started with communication via satellite and later cables that extend throught he entire ocean.

Then he mentioned the configuration of the several different devices, all of which had to be done well. I kept trying to explain but like anyone else my knowledge is limited and eventually I realized that my understanding of the internet and its signals on a physical level is pretty limited.
