Finding these original mixes is like finding a diamond before it’s been cut and polished. The roughness makes it fascinating in its own way.

Finding these beta versions of the final mixes feels like hearing the MGR soundtrack for the first time again

Bit of a POV here for me: Heard this after people dug into the demo files long before the game came out. Played through the whole game, no sign of this song. Loading screen comes up for the final Armstrong fight, and the instruments come roaring back with a triumphant return even better than I first heard.
I listened to the final boss theme without even knowing, and I already knew the lyrics.

The feeling this song gives me:

"When there were NO NANOMACHINES, SON. Yet!"

I like to think that this version would play if Armstrong was meant to win.

I actually find these vocals surprisingly enjoyable, for some reason, even if they aren't strong enough for a final boss theme they're still nice to listen to.

It doesn’t what version it is, the blood stained sand part will ALWAYS be a fucking baller

The vocals sound more heart felt than the final version. This is good, but would pulls from the largeness that the song is supposed to have. And there's a few weird stresses here and there.

This sounds more like the supporting vocalist singing the harmony without the lead singer. I feel like it would fit better if the instrumentals weren't so hype as fuck. Like the vocals are pretty and solemn but everyone else is going hard so it feels out of place.

I actually like this version, it sounds more melancholic.

This makes me feel like an OST for the first part of the bossfight with Armstrong, before he passed his philosophy onto Raiden and when they fight for after the explosion this would play

I fail to see the issue with the vocals, really liking this version.

Ricardo Millos vs The Rock brought me here.

Music = EPIC
Vocals = Are ok, but not good enough for a final boss battle

The issue with the vocal is that the completed song is a duet as there are two people singing the entire time and harmonising with each other. This video only has one of the voice parts not both and that not only removes half the power and feeling from the singing it also make the voice part feel unfinished.

0:10 from the beginning it’s feels like you’re at the end this is your final fight the final boss in the game this is the end of this madness this without doubting the best ost on Mgrr ngl

I'd say I like the raw instrumentals in this piece better, specially the drum focus. But the vocals could be a bit more hype as the original was, but it's a fantastic piece by itself.

This one is way less polished than the final version, the vocals aren't so bad but aren't as good as Jimmy Gnecco's. Overall it still trumps the other betas, but isn't as good as the final version.

The guy has great range, maybe it's because I've heard the in game version that obviously had more love put into it that I like it more, but the music just completely overpowers the vocals. Plus he just has this lilt to his voice that almost sounds whiny.
