I haven't played Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance but I know this song, not even because of the memes. I believe I first heard it about 3 years ago when one of my friends introduced me to it.
We had a tradition where we'd play games and one of use acted as a "jukebox" and would take music or song requests while we played the games. My friend chose this song.
