A bit of advice: it's not productive to attack the messenger (even if he/she lacks desirable credentials). The best science deals with the merits of the argument and the data presented on both sides.

John Campbell and Vincent together would make a great show either on TWIV or John's show. Problem is Vincent said he has nothing to talk to John about. Well, here's something: Both of these guys were obscure professors lecturing medical-care students. Then Covid hit and both earned international reputations teaching the whole world desperate for knowledge. Let them talk about their experiences personally doing that. And I would love to hear them discuss the relative values of randomised-controlled trials, observational studies, retrospective studies, meta-data analysis etc. The time has come to stop genuflecting ONLY to RCTs and consider how professors, physicians and the public can handle all clinically useful scientific knowledge when the WHO, CDC, NIH disseminate BS.

I hope the science/virology wins over the lab origin claims. But Amy and Vincent are right. Way too many "credentialed" people are being used by the media, pundits, etc. when in fact their areas of expertise is not virology and adjacent fields. The consequences will be rather dire.

I listen to John Campbell daily and even this week he is simply calling for bigger, better studies on ivermectin - and he has repeatedly said that he is not prescribing it nor endorsing it - just asking that it be looked at vigorously so we can get a definitive answer on its efficacy w covid

Poor Vincent seems like he’s aged after his field has been tainted by liars and opportunists like Peter Daszak, Fauchi and the Lancet. I have the utmost respect for Vincent but I think sometimes he is blinded by manipulated data.

Wow y’all are salty today. Campbell has called for randomized controlled studies on ivermectin. You both need to educate and inform yourself on topics before speaking on them if you’re going to insist that others do the same. How disappointing to see you both talking like this.

I was immunocompromised from a drug I was taking for MS. My doctor told me I had to quit taking it because my lymphocytes were too low. That was around January of 2020. Apparently, I had enough to recover from mild Covid-19 in March 2020. I finished my Moderna vaccines about three months ago, and I have about 75% of the lower range for CD4 cells. My CD8 cells are low but within the expected range. But my spike antibody level is VERY high. Above the range the diagnostic lab measures. I assume that means I have a lot of memory immune cells moving into my bone marrow.

He is NOT a CHARLATAN.
I love TWiV but past few months you seem to fallen into your own bubble
YES priority on Virology.
But VIROLOGY or at least the language and concepts of Virology are now in the global public new literacy. So an honest sincere discussion with NON-Experts {non-Virologists} woud be helpful to everyone.
It is kind of tragic that you don't see this more clearly in 2021
.
There are some charlatans. BUT there are also smart dedicated people, working v hard to provide a bridge = crucial level of public health science and news.
TWIV could help them to help others = HELP EVERYONE
And also therefore TWiV carry and develop its audience into the next phase > 2021-2022-2025..

Even if this only means havinig the occassional guests outside of your default prime exprtis. Take an enlightened look at the commucations aspects of online Virology+++ in the context of medical science && widespread illiteracy

I'd love you guys to get Dr Robert Malone on. He seems a very balanced good man who cares about science and people. He knows his stuff on mRNA vaccines and I think you would have a good conversation and learn a lot from each other.
