What I want is for Nintendo to add skirts and dresses that aren't exclusive to the amiibos, also some forma of layering gear or just wearing múltiple gear like wearing glasses and hats at The same time. Last thing make gloves their own thing

i honestly just wanna be able to pick my default ink color that appears in anything that isn't a battle. if i'm in the plaza, or just alone in the lobby, then i wanna be blue. i don't care what i was in battle, and i don't care what i was in grizzco, i just wanna be blue.

so much so, that i used to keep playing turf war matches until i got blue again so i could activate color lock and then turn it off once i go back to battling. a few years later, i just straight up forgot that i had color lock on blue and ended up realizing splatfest private battles weren't working as intended.

Cargo pants, skirts (long and short) for example

More player customization customization (like a crap ton more hairstyles and eye colors variations, moles, freckles ect)
Actual jeans and different leg wear options that actually look good with the shirt options (also including skirts, cargo pants, khakis, diff types of jeans ect)
Jewelry like bracelets, necklaces, anklets, rings, piercings
More clothing aesthetics (outfits) in general like y2k, coquette, babydoll, goth, grunge, gyrau, Bohemian, fairycore, cottagecore, Lolita, old money, preppy, Street wear, skater, downtown, vintage, ect)
Im tired of Nintendo paywalling exclusive clothes in Splatoon I just want more customization.

I really want the weapons shop to have an ink tank aisle. Imagine having tons of different ink tank designs. Also changing the look of your weapon would be nice. The splattershot has gone through 3 different looks and the first one is still the best. Imagine pressing y with splattershot equiped to change between designs Also i hope splatoon 4 uses the splatoon 1/2 inkling models because the splatoon 3 models dont look right. Which is one of the main reasons i prefer splatoon 2

Honestly, Nintendo comes up with such good hairstyle ideas, and then just scraps them for no apparent reason, only to add a hair that literally looks like the duke from frozen-

They have GOT to add more hair clips or bows or smth. I loved the s1+s2 uni hairclips, but they're a lil boring

Here's a tip for the haircolor problem for anyone who doesnt know yet!
You can go into your battle replays, pick a match where the Alpha team has the ink colour you want and start the replay. As soon as the intro is over just tap back out, and your ink will be the correct color!

One customisable thing I wanna see is hair styles replicas for both inkling and octoling, basically like octolings having some of the inkling hair styles but it would be an octoling version

it's insane we didn't get any hair updates, not even 1 new inkling/octo haircut despite there being so many concepts in the artbook

I just want some things from project Splatoon 3 to show that Nintendo at the very least acknowledged it.
(Make up, hairstyles, weapons, a new playable species, even something as small as a slight reference would be nice)

Interesting thing about eye colour is that it's totally possible! Splat 1 and 2 used transparent eye textures that overlayed on top of set colours to make their eye colours, so it can definitely be done, with maybe a few adjustments to account for pupil and rim colours. Hair tip colours are also possible, but might work a bit funkily as regular player hair materials (without getting into too much detail) does a thing where certain colours make it muddy on darker or bluish colours, despite the hair tip colour staying consistent purple for every hair option

5:15 Or even better, as you might already know, there are multiple variations of some pieces of gear, for example:
•Home-Team Catcher/Away-Team Catcher
•Black Arrowbands/White Arrowbands
•Octo Jumper (Home)/Octo Jumper (Away)
•Takoroka Tandem/Tentatek Tandem
•Red Hammertreads/Dappled Hammertreads
•E-JECT 30XX/E-JECT 30VV etc.
What if all those gear variations were all stacked together so you know which gear you want to equip and so that you don’t feel like you have too much. This can even work for the weapon kits!

THE LAST POINT !!! YES the main thing for me is when i make an outfit i love, but one of the items changes with your ink color every time, but another item doesnt, and then its all wrong! i think having the option to chose from maybe 3 pre selected pallets and then an option for it to change with your ink color would be great

The more customization, the better. I love customization in Splatoon and a lot of things you listed in this video are also things I would like to see in Splatoon 4

it has always bugged me how the idols all have such cool hair and different from the normal everyday inklings and octolings, i think hair customisation would be REALLY cool and allow for people to further customise there ocs and be more creative. Im not sure about other people but I think this would be very good for the splatoon community.

Here is my opinions on what you suggested

1. Yes we need more hair styles, heck i want a lot more maybe 4 for each at the beginning, and every 1-3 seasons we get 2 more styles 1 for each, i feel like the amount total that should be add whether at the start or added over the life span should be 10-16 cause I've seen a lot of people make new hair styles, adding on and making variants of other styles, heck i saw someone who did a thing where they swapped the hair styles, like gave Octolings a Haircut similar to the one boys had in Splatoon 1 and vice versa but for inklings

2. Hair color; I absolutely agree we need an option to pick a default hair color cause i want to take pictures and i have to wait a century to get Green, so many battles and recon modes just to get the color i want for pictures, even if it's something people would only see in lobby, i think this needs to be in 4 as a priority, and made let us do gradients or choose different shades of colors, like some pick people pick darker, Pastel, less saturated or more and etc as options as for the tip color i also 100% agree, and maybe make it where we can change the shape? Like instead of rings or circles we can have swirls, stripes or other shapes, i think the color tips would be a great idea cause you can still show individually in battles, like if your team is completely blue you can have the tips still be the color you set it as and imagine if you star the match and 2 players have pink ends, you have Red and someone as yellow tips, it bring so much character and personality

3. I completely agree with you we need more options i want certain color like a Very Vibrant Berry Red and my friend wants like a pastel lanveder but it might be a lot to ask for Nintendo/Splatoon dev team to render the entire RGB color wheel (idk if that's true I don't how rendering colors in video games and how it can be easy or impossible even though I'm an artist) i think a spectrum would be the best, you go affect the brightness, Color/vividness, and saturation i also want like more of those Unique eyes the color pupils are awesome and etc

4. We need pants, i want Baggy jeans, cargo pants, anything that goes down and covers your ankles, we need more options i agree with everything, the idea of a shop to buy more types of pants (i don't care if they have abilities or just for aesthetics i just like the idea)

5. 100% we need different colors on the gear or clothes, as well more variations like imagine with like your generic hoodie you could change the color, how Baggy it was, and other stuff, like putting your hood up (if your not wearing a piece of gear or in a variation that didn't conflict with it) and for stuff like you can add like for armors you can add stickers on it (either with stickers you put on lockers or ones that come with or can be unlocked) but you made a lot of good points
