HOW TO CLEAN sticky labels off used jars & essential oil bottles | Removing sticker residue

This is how to remove and clean sticker residue and stick labels off of glass jars and essential oil bottles. All this can be done with 3 common kitchen products: water, olive oil and soap.

An easier way to do this:-
1) Soak the glass jars (without the lid) in hot water for 10 - 15 mins (DO NOT let the water cool down otherwise it will fasten the glue again).

2) sud with dish soap

3) scrub of any sticky residue

4) if there are still any leftover glue marks then oil the sticky area and follow step 2.

For essential oil bottles:-
1) Soak the bottles in hot soapy water for 10 - 15 mins (without the lid)

2) peel of the label

3) use either lemon essential oil or rubbing alcohol to remove the sticky residue (I prefer to wear gloves at this stage since you don't want to be touching essential oils).

4) I also prefer to clean the inside of the bottle again with soap and water (just to remove anything lingering residue).
