I work with kids between one and three years and it’s AWFUL what kind of shoes they are wearing.

I did so much research and I still ended up buying rain boots with a heel because I wasn't aware there were even options for rain gear. Now that he's 3, I'm having to look for shoes that will fit him because he's still too small for kids shoes and baby shoes are a little bit too minimal. I try to strike a balance between his beloved Pumas that my husband ended up getting him and keeping his shoes as minimal as possible. The one thing I had trouble with was letting him go barefoot enough in the house because the floors are too cold in the winter.

Soft Walker Shoes are leather, wide toebox, flexible, and affordable ($35 a pair, all factors considered).

Do you have any reviews of the Belenka Royale, and if not do you plan to do a review of this new model? I would love a full review of them before pulling the trigger and purchasing them

Lol this reminds me of my ex MIL being dismayed at my then 3m not having any shoes on just socks for some warmth. Like the baby is not anywhere near walking heck not even crawling, no shoes necessary! Then when it was time for shoes closer to a year old (mainly so wouldn't be barefoot in potentially unsafe public areas) I luckily was in enough hippie mom group to know about Robees (and the Target knockoffs) for very minimal soft shoes.
