When I first stepped out of the army recruiting office there was a marine recruiter waiting for me behind the door, immediately trying to convince me to come to his office across the hall.

Got certed in IT at 16 and told the recruiter I want to work on computers. He told I can be an aircraft mechanic and work on the computers the planes have. I got C130s! NOT ONE COMPUTER onboard! Never worked in an IT career.🤣🤣
