I like that Thor respects Cap's endurance and tolerance enough to not consider him Human.

Stan Lee takes his revenge by cutting Thor's long hair.

Thor: _"It is not meant for mortal men."_

Also Thor: Gives Steve a shot because he knows he's worthy.

"I don't think I can afford a place in Brooklyn"

Damn, they didn't get a dime for being superheroes didn't they?

I just realised that all of the World War 2 veterans were invited by Steve, because he didn’t really have anyone to associate or socialise with.

I love how he has to go to a random group, retell the story, and get a laugh out of them to reassure himself that he's "funny".

Steve: "I don't think i can afford a place in Brooklyn."

Steve, you are eligible for 4.5 million dollars of backpay from the military.

Can we appreciate the fact that Thor was incredibly at home with the WWII Veterans and they enjoyed one another’s company. It was so wholesome. One warrior to a group of soldiers, all as one telling stories.

2 years later (casually smiling) : "it was a mutual break up"

Rhodey after cracking the same joke in different group:
"I'm still worthy"

I love all the Military Vets in this scene. It was a nice touch.

It's still a party - but Avengers don't party with socialites. They party with warriors.

I love how Captain America invited some old World War 2 veterans. :-)

0:09 Thor hanging out with Cap's veteran guests is pretty cute

This kind of stuff is exactly what the DCEU needs. It doesn’t have to be funny, but show the heroes interact with each other as human beings.

I could literally watch a movie about the Avengers just talking to each other.

Stan Lee wasn’t playing a WWII veteran, he WAS a WWII veteran.

Fun fact: Stan Lee and other comicbook writers and artists were actually WW2 Veterans. In Stan's case, he was in the Signal Corps for three years. For the other guys, Joe Simon joined the Coast Guard and Jack Kirby was in the Army. Jack is a special case because after the success of the first Captain America comic (the cover has him punching Hitler like a badass), two Nazis went to his office and called him to be down in three minutes for disrespecting Hitler. Jack rolled his sleeves up and responded "I'll be there in two minutes." It was recorded with the Nazis running down the street and Jack looking ready to deliver some serious damage!
