You been telling us for months the 7800x3d is the goat so I grabbed the 7800x3d a few months ago bundled with mobo and 6000 mem for CHEAP from Microcenter. Then the prices went up a couple weeks later. Lian li case and PSU all on your recommendation and vids. Keep up the great work Jason and Mr Bear!

Very pleased with the 7800X3D in my main system; it's a great cpu. I've got an Intel 13600k in my back up system and it's good, but the 7800X3D is the boss!

7900x is an underdog that doesnt get enough notoriety, its a great gaming cpu, wont bottleneck anything, is a beast multitasker productivity cpu. Its a good all around cpu, its cheap too. I got mine during prime day for $320

I'm thinking the 7800X3D price is a bubble. There were probably a lot of people like me, sitting on an AM4 system that's still doing OK, but looking to the 9000 series and maturity of DDR5, before upgrading platforms.

When 9000 came out and flopped, with 9800X3D still months out, that dam broke. There was a feeding frenzy on cheap 7800X3D chips, which dried up supply quickly. But once 9800X3D is released, I don't think there is going to be crazy enough demand to support a $100-150 hike in MSRP. Especially with Intel's 265k sitting at $400ish.

I'm not going to pay $600 for a 9800X3D, even though I already ordered my X870E Nova last night, when it finally came back in stock!

Jason- I ended up going with a 7800x3d and paired it with my 4070 super and im very happy. Working on saving up for a 1440p monitor. Will be using ur monitor guide for that as well. Thanks for all of ur videos they are super helpful.

22:48 Spending 50-60€ extra for the ALC4080/ALC1220/ALC4082 codec can be worth it if you have, or want to buy, Studio Headphones, since those motherboards are the only option to drive high Impedance without an additional Amplifier or sound card, which tend to be around the same cost, or even higher. High-Impedance headphones can offer great sound for sometimes better value, and work better with music Instruments :)

Got my 7800x3d/new pc build in July. I was really on the fence to buy or wait. Glad my impulsive buying paid off this time :D. Oh, and it works amazing with the Color Master Hell Hound 7900 gre! I play all my games 1440p and ultra settings with no issues.
