How To Install A Ring Spotlight Cam (Battery Powered)-Tutorial

In this video, I show you how to install a Ring Spotlight Cam. It is actually a really simple process, and I demonstrate the installation with the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery edition, which runs off of battery power. If you are securing the Ring Spotlight Cam to a brick or stucco surface, then you will have to install some wall anchors and drill some pilot holes first, but if you are securing it to wood then you can just screw the bracket in place and then follow the instructions for mounting the Spotlight Cam onto the actual bracket. Overall, it is an easy installation process and Ring provides you with pretty much everything that you need to get it done.

Is there a way to mount it on the bottom, like if I wanted to mount it on top of a wooden 4X4 fence post (and not on the side of it)? It seems like there's only ways to mount it on walls. What if I just want to screw it down onto a deck or something? What would I do? I've been wondering for a while now.

Or can you do that with that mount and swivel it all the way forward, or something?
