I don't understand, it's literally the same exact movie as the first one with just a new cast (except the one teacher and principal)? It's not even a "woke" or slight adaptation...all of the same exact things happen as in the first one - it's almost identical. Maybe i'm missing something.

This is not it. Just because people loved the original Mean Girls or any other iconic movie, does not mean you have to milk it and expect the same success. What is the point of this? It's not going to measure up to the classic. Just leave it be. We don't need a Gen Z, tiktok era twist on this.

IF it was titled thought this would be a sequel, like the original cast had kids of their own in school and potentially crossed paths at the PTA meetings or would-be teachers or some type of spinoff like that, not a "remake"
