Death is not the end of life; rather, it's a process of life, without which life wouldn't be possible.

So very well done brother! Death can be viewed as the ultimate transition while at the same time viewed as the final realization.

I still find this topic sooo difficult. I confess I am sooo afraid of death.
All the wisdom you present in the video is very soothing for my mind and soul though. It broadens my perspective on life and deathand eases, somewhat, the fear.
Thank you!

Beautifully said. This is a very important topic that we should all feel comfortable talking about. I look forward to hearing more from you, thank you.

We come from soil and go back into it only to be reborn in another form so it's basically the transition of forms not the end of life.

I flatlined many years ago, and had a near-death experience. I was very young. It was AWESOME - like Zen - nothing-ness, nothing physical, just ME. No, no one is coming along, and you can't take anything with you...

I have lost both of my parents. It wasn't dying it was the pain they had endured that was so horrible. I am petrified of suffering

By Henry Scott Holland:

Death Is Nothing At All
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?

I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.

All is well.

Some people are not spiritual so, I believe it is their attachment to death or the deseased

This is a good video. Well produced. But it starts well, only to go on and then swerve the usual problems. A leaf (although it's a very pretty image) has no consciousness as far we know. We are different, because we do have consciousness. We know we are going to "end", and we struggle to grasp the full consequences of this. The challenge that people like myself have ( I am an atheist and an anti capitalist) is that we know, and fear, that our consciousness is a product of our biological bodies, and when we die there will be no left over identity, no ego, no "soul", and no "spirit". I accept that the universe is wonderful and awe inspiring, I accept that I am a product of that Universe as it goes on its inexorable way though existence. I accept that when I am gone, my body will decompose in the natural way and remain a part of the universe, and its lovely to know, but that "I" will be gone. Totally. So how does a person like me cope with this? There is only one way that I know off; to make sure my life is fully "Lived" and that when I die, the world will be a better place for me having lived in it. With that idea, then violence, hatred, oppression, war, etc etc seem to be ridiculous ways to live your life.
