just wanna share how I fixed mine, saw this thru a long reddit thread. This mainly is for those who have nvidia control panel instead. Go to NVIDIA control panel (by right clicking on your desktop) > manage 3D settings > Program Settings > Add and choose adobe premiere pro.exe > set to 'integrated graphics' on another drop down menu below.

HOlly CRAP!!! I spend the last 2 days..rebooting, clearing cache..visiting other youtube videos but nothing worked....NOTHING! until I came across this video. I was thinking...probably will not work but what the hell..I will try it anyway..then I worked the first time!!! You saved my BTW.. I have a nvidia card and worked with no problem!!!

try renaming it as premiere pro CC ..and then troubleshooting the compatibility. .it worked for me
