How to fade the golf ball the easy way

In this golf tips video we will examine how to fade a golf shot. Specifically we will review the easiest way to hit a fade by making adjustments to your clubface alignment at address and the swing path through your stance during your setup.

The mismatch between the club path and the clubface at impact will exert sidespin, i.e., when they are aligned the ball goes straight. In this instance and for a fade, you begin by aiming your club slightly to the left of the target. Next, you change your stance by aligning it further to the left still in order for the clubface to be open relative to the swing path, as dictated by your alignment. An open club face will produce a left-to-right ball flight for a right handed golfer and if you are successful in your setup and swing you should produce a ball that starts off to the left and ends up at the target.

Great video and instructions now I realize why I’ve been pulling my shots way right (as a lefthanded golfer ) I’ve changed my feet at set up more of a closed stance where as last year when I was hitting fades constantly with a slightly open stance Thanks for making me aware 👍👍

Great videos!!! Can you clarify your ball position when hitting the fade and draw please? Standard to the club being used or moved forward or back in the stance accordingly?

Please help! I’m more of an advanced golfer, score in the high 70s to very low 80s on a consistent basis.
However right now I’m fighting every shot from PW-Driver as a hook. I can’t stop it right now.
Appreciate any advice.
