Dustin Johnson and Collin Morikawa hitting drivers, talking about all things technique, feels and thought processes that go into hitting their signature shot—the fade. What more could a golf fan want? Sit back and learn why the two swing the club the way they do. From their signature bowed wrist at the top of the backswing, to their aim points and details of the swing, these two major champion golfers cover it all.

These are easily the best videos taylormade puts out. The ones where it’s just two pros talking about what they are thinking and their process. Keep this up please!

Very few professional athletes have the natural on camera ability Collin does. So engaging and easy to listen to. Quickly becoming one of my favourite players on tour for being both an exciting player and a well spoken individual.

Nice to be able to watch a couple of pros talk through shots without the addition of some content creator asking them irrelevant questions that the audience doesn't care about.

Every slicer right now: “See? I don’t slice! I cut it… just like DJ!”

“I don’t try to bow my wrist”
They are literally born with this talent.

Great video. DJ seems so relaxed with other tour players and Collin is effortless with his command of the conversation. More of these two please.

to hear pros say "the hardest shot to hit is a straight one" and "play your misses" just destroyed a huge mental block I've had since I've been trying to straighten out my fade

This is so helpful for me, thanks for the content. My past couple years have been a journey from 8 handicap to +0.6, and a lot of the stuff that interests me now is understanding what the pros do and don't ask of themselves. There are plenty of instances where they're more capable/talented than a good amateur, but there are also plenty of instances where they now how to hit the shots that are easy for themselves.

Collin did great here. Great questions and answers from DJ. Thanks for doing these!

my favourite shot shape is a fade, so a video with Collin Morikawa and DJ speaking about their preferred shot shape. Perfect. Thank you TaylorMade.

I hit a cut to a fade to control my misses. And I have very high ball and swing speed. Everyone asks me to 'hit a draw and hit it evern further!'. But my power cut goes just as far as my draw swing. But most importantly I can talk to a cut, but a hook wont listen.

I went to a draw in my late 20s, and it hurt my game. I would always suggest a cut to most golfers that swing hard. If your swing speed is over 110, the cuts your friend.

I was just about to go do some comparisons with the launch monitor between my LD cut swing vs my draw swing. This is a great video that most people will hear 'cut and slice' and not 'manage your miss'.

Total winner TM!! Hope you have more with Dustin and Collin!
Now if I could actually hit a Taylormade driver that stays as my not my slice!
Thank you again!

I spent all my time as a junior trying to hit a draw, then grew up and spent the rest of my life trying to hit a fade. I believe Trevino said you can talk to a fade but a hook won’t listen. I’ve always played my best when I consistently hit fades, heaven help me when the double cross pops up though.

Not sure what the course or when but that 400 yard hole where Dustin just about drained his drive remains one of the best, if not the best, golf shot I have ever seen. You do not ever get to be World Number 1 without understanding your tendencies off the tee.

When I was a junior golfer, I was told to aim my club face where I wanted to start the ball, and my feet where I wanted it to end. I’m not sure that advice was correct, but somehow I made it work. Once I got better my body just knew what a fade or draw swing felt like.

"Yeah I don't know either. That's just how I swing."

The most DJ quote of all time
