This works in today’s NBA because the defender has to avoid the contact the offensive player is making.

Use change of pace. And when you're about to finish at the rim pump fake to have the defender jump, so you can draw contact or finish.

What i do is fake the hook shot on the right and hit a short fade away. Sometimes gotta fave wheb your physical out matched.

That’s gonna work 1v1- in a real game you’re probably not gonna have access to the middle of the lane like that. If you got the angle, take it and use touch to get the shot off.

Thank you for putting this video out .. this is a what I’ve been showing young hoopers they should do ..more kids need to understand there’s ways to beat the opponent with out thinking you have to have 100% athleticism.. basketball is mental .. Lukah isn’t super athletic .. Austin reaves is super athletic .. but they are smart about how they use their body..
