Replacing a Power Outlet - the easy way!

This clip will show you how to replace a power outlet. Make sure you turn off the power and take the right precautions.

The first step is to remove the old outlet and disconnect the wires. Reconnect the wires to your new outlet and attach it to the plug box. Make shure the bare wire is not exposed. To finish your project, attach the cover and test the power outlet.
