We, humans, are fascinated with the idea of traveling back or ahead in time. Time Travel Machines and Devices have been a staple for a lot of science fiction and even fantasy stories catering to our desire to either change something in the past to make our lives better or just skip ahead in time to find out if life gets better on its own in the future.

Ever wonder why we may never develop a Time Machine? Because Time probably doesn’t even EXIST!

Welcome to Factnomenal, and today let’s find out why some physicists insist that TIME exists only in our heads.

Outside of the universe there is no time. So technically those scientists are correct. But within the bubble of space time
there is both space and time. There is four dimensional time travel but it depends on three locations of placement
within space to get you anywhere from point A to B .The level of accumulated knowledge man has "discovered" is only
a thimble full of what the universe has yet to be offered and explored.

So i was late for work today and told my boss that time doesn't exist and so i showed him this video. I am now looking for a new job.

I also think "time" is our measurement and sense of entropy. We observe and measure aspects of entropy, not time itself.

Time doesn’t exist, it was created by us to try to give us some sort of understanding of something that we will never comprehend.

I just spent 11 minutes of time watching this video and concluded it exists. If you don't believe 11 minutes exist, then try watching this video in an eternal loop, and you'll quickly realize you should be doing better things with yout time.

I recommend reading "The end of time" by Julian Barbour. Brilliant scientific theory and a brilliant book! I never looked at the world again in the same way, and I've read much literature on the subject. This stands above all to me.

One of the smartest professors I had in college asserted that time is simply the human measurement of existence and change. Time as a dimension is an illusion, a human construct.

At 84 years of age, it is no illusion to me.

I don't think time exists, when you "time" how quickly a thrown ball can reach a certain distance, your actually instead measuring the balls opposing forces [air resistance) in getting to its final destination, time is not a thing.

Time may be an emerging property of entropy and does not in itself exist. That makes a lot of sense in so many ways. Time and gravity we deal with every day, both intertwined some how, both poorly understood. I suspect if we can crack those two, a new leap in human existence and knowledge will follow.

If time doesn’t exist, would it be reasonable to think the universe didn’t have a beginning?

I find that the more I learn, not only do you have to determine the questioners (observer's) understanding of time, but also what they perceive as entropy.

It would make more sense to me to consider time as the (one and only) real dimension of spacetime, and the three spatial dimensions as imaginary. This way the coordinates of any event in spacetime can be written as a quaternion.
Also, one can measure time in a single location, but it is impossible to measure distance instantly. Sure, one can read a measuring rod instantly, but it takes time to place the rod. And one can measure a star’s redshift instantly and calculate the distance from it, but only using photons that the star emitted some time ago. The minimum amount of time required to measure any distance d is d/c.
Maybe time is real and space is emerging.

It's amazing how time seems to disappear while we are sleeping or in deep sleep....when we awake 8 hours of sleep seems to feel like only a very fraction of that time. In fact it seems that our perception of time disappears while we are sleeping or in the dream state. When we awake from sleep our parents of time reappears again. Something to think about 💯

It takes time to go from point A to point B even down to the quantum level. 3 dimensional objects with no time dimension automatically violates the laws of physics in a dynamic (non static) universe.

General relativity works only with real things like matter that can be measured and observed, well some anyways. And quantum mechanics deals with probabilities and uncertainties, so they don't clash well. One describes the real world we live in and the other describes what happens in an extremely small world of possibilities.
Time exists as a dimension, IE something that can be measured or observed. If it can be measured or observed then it is real in our slow mass frame of time. Saying time doesn't exist is like saying the Earth and Sun doesn't exist, even though they can be measured and observed.

Haven’t watched the video but I’ve never thought of time as a real “thing”.. I’ve always just thought of it as motion, time is motion, motion is time, measurable, predictable, recordable… Time on a clock is just the measurement of motion

no such thing as time? That means no such thing as space.
No such thing as space means no such thing as things.
No separate things existing means this cosmos is just one infinite all encompassing reality.
One infinite reality means there is no such a thing as you and me as we know it. Either we are nothing or we are everything.
If you are everything then it means nothing lies outside of you.

This means you are the ultimate reality. Only you exist. And everything you see and consider to be other than you.. is happening within you.

We want there to be a single theory that explains both quantum mechanics and gravity because it appeals to our sense of elegance, but there’s no reason that there has to be one.

Time doesn't actually exist. It is merely an agreed upon measurement tool that humans created and use to help measure when events occur and to communicate with each other. Using a time machine to go back in history and visit the dinosaurs is impossible since time itself doesn't exist and isn't a thing you can manipulate in such a way to actually pull it off. The best we might be able to do is alter the mind and / or body of someone to make them have a different perception of time compared to other humans on Earth. Like maybe if you are traveling super fast in a spaceship, that might cause your body to age faster or slower in comparison to people living on Earth. But even that wouldn't truly be time travel.
