This is a delicious baked Sago pudding
Ingredients:
1 Liter Milk
1 Cup Sago
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Cup Sugar
65g Butter
1 Tsp Vanilla essence
4 Eggs - Separated
1/4 Cup Apricot Jam
1/4 Cup Honey (optional)
1/2 Cup Sugar (Extra)
Preheat oven to 160 Degrees Celcius
Heat milk to nearly boiling.
Add sago, salt, and cinnamon
Simmer on very low heat until the sago is transparent
Add one-half cup of sugar, butter, and the vanilla essence, stir very well until everything is mixed and butter melted
Whisk egg yolks, apricot jam, and honey together
Add to the mixture and stir in
Put the mixture in a lightly greased dish
Whisk egg whites until stiff, add sugar bit by bit to make the meringue
Spread Meringue over the sago
Bake for 35 min
