Good morning my beautiful friend. You know I agree 100% with you. Oh thank you for sharing my saying. Yes, this is a time in our lives, not our lifetime. Wish I would have known this when I was a teenager. I think when a situation makes me feel like I have no control, the anxiety appears.I do many of the things you mentioned to regain a calm feeling. Love you, Elle E..MaryEllen

I'm learning! I caught myself the other day stressing over things I can't control -- when I stepped back, I actually laughed out loud. It was so exciting to catch it before I spiraled! Little steps!🌻

Hi Elle, I really like Mary Ellen’s saying. Also, “Stay in your own lane!” Really helps to remember that with family drama. Love you, hope you’re feeling great, Sharon ❤️

Super conversation today. Because of changes in our lifestyles and the events around us, I believe we are exposed to stressful events more than ever before. Love you! ❤️. Sandra

When I’m stressed I find that organizing my closet or dresser really helps while listening to music or a good audio book . It’s like I’m tuning out the stress while I figure what I’m going to do next.

Love your Sunday chats. I really struggle with anxiety and through therapy I understand why. So much of our responses and causes of anxiety can often be rooted in childhood trauma where we have no control of the situations we're placed in. That fear of being in a place or situation we can't control is so deeply rooted. The less control I have causes me so much stress, anxiety and depression. Journaling, self talk ( reasoning with my intellect and not with my immediate emotions) and praying have to be part of my daily life or I would just be existing. Victims of childhood trauma can face challenges every day for the rest of their lives. I struggle every day to keep on an even keel but I WON'T let my past destroy me. They have hurt me enough and I won't give anyone the power to take anymore away from me. Blessings.

Awesome tips Elle! I have been faced with some huge stressful times with my husbands health! I went through about 2 weeks of pure stress, and it is so hard on your body. I have been on Keto for two months now and am feeling much better, but boy was I losing sleep! I finally came to the realization that I have to live one day at a time... tomorrow isn’t here and the other thing was I have to take care of myself in order to care for him...sleep is so important on recharging our bodies and minds. Thank you for these awesome tips for handling stress! Love you! ❤️

I have extreme anxiety. I didn't even know that was what I had until 1 and 1/2 years ago. I've had this for as long as I can remember. Even remembering back to 4 and 5 years old. Being a pro active person, I had just developed my own coping mechanisms. Since I have now got an actual diagnosis, it makes it so much better. I now can really pinpoint what exactly I'm going to do when I know certain situations are coming up. I love these tips. I remember another video where you said imagine your worst scenario and figure out what you will do if that happens. This has really helped. Thanks!

Over a period of time I paid attention to, and recognized factors in my life that indicated I was able and ready to hang up my career. A beautiful stress reducer for me. It was also nice to "go out" while still being on top of my game. This made looking back, beautiful. Not regretful.

Hi Elle, What perfect tips and just what I needed after a hectic 18 hour day business trip to the east coast. The jet lag and 3-4 hours of sleep created a challenge. Used some of your tips this past week to destress. Nice to be home again and try to catch up on my favorite you tube friends and their videos. Love Mary Ellen's quote. My grandmother used to say ., .tomorrow is a brand new day with a clean slate. I often use you tube meditation videos for destressing. Elle this is one of your best videos...then again I think I say that all the time. You are such a blessing. BTW ....the next time you are in TJ's their new Peony Blossom foaming hand soap is amazing. Love you my beautiful friend and your necklaces are exquisite. Hugs...Sherry

Thanks so much for a wonderful video Elle, I so enjoy your Sunday Videos. You really need to write a book my friend. You are so wise, caring and Kind and address everything that all of us humans seem to forget and need a little nudge or reminder along this beautiful journey called LIFE! I say a beautiful journey because I am a survivor of ovarian and uterine Cancer, so I have found not to take a day for granted. Be Blessed Elle.

Happy Sunday Elle! I've recently thought, "Do I want to feel this way?" The answer is always no, so I decide to ignore the "issue" (if it's one that makes sense to ignore). When I was younger that would have seemed impossible, but now if I'm determined, I absolutely can! Thank you for all the wisdom and encouragement! Love you sweet friend! ❤️
