Homemade Flour Tortillas Recipe - Soft and Fluffy Tortillas

Thank you for watching my homemade flour tortillas recipe video. In this video, I show you how I make my homemade flour tortillas that are 100% better than any store bought tortillas. This is a very easy to follow recipe and the result will be a family favorite. If you want to make these tortillas for tacos, use the same recipe but weigh out the dough to 40 grams per tortilla and roll them out the same way as I did.

Childhood memories alright! My mom always made tortillas for us and after watching your tutorial I remembered she ALSO baked them on the cast iron skillet as her comal!!! We really were poor and I only saw butter at my friends house so we used margerine- I think it tasted fine as a kid. God bless you Joe!!

This is approximately the same recipe that my mother used. So many recipes do not use that pinch of baking powder, which is the key ingredient to making pillowy & airy tortillas. The other recipes have that look of not being fully cooked and feel rubbery. Thank you for providing the measurements I have always struggled because my mother never measured and I always make them by feel and sometimes it is hit and miss😃
