When do men learn?

5 years I wasted trying to force my addicted spouse to rectify his drinking, cheating and drug use. In the end when I left him, he blamed the destruction of our engagement fully on my "unrealistic expectations". He legitimately told me I should just start drinking and taking drugs so we could get a long better. BOYBYE! My life has become joyful again, so it's clear to me who the real problem was.

Truth!!!! Im in that season now where I CHOSE to confront MY truth. It is HARD! It requires sacrifice and discipline as Tony stated. What I have learned is MEN and WOMEN will not change until they are ready! We can not force anyone because we all have to go through certain seasons. Either we will learn on our own time or when God chooses his time, it will not be pretty. God will place us in seasons when he will strip us of EVERYTHING in order to get our attention. It will feel like punishment but it will end up being a blessing in the end. It is unfair to force ANYONE to be who you want them to be because he/she may not be in the same season as you. Men are just to complicated . Y'all need the most . This is part of why we as women just find it more gratifying to make money . With men needing so much, whose gonna take care of us ? I can handle the differences between the sexes but what I'm not willing to ever do is accept the "ego " with all the other things adhoc i.e lack of : maturity, leadership without running a slave trade business, finances, grown boy, just overall low vibes etc.

That God made him to be and use it as a weapon against the woman & the family. That's sign of a weak man who cannot be trusted. A lot of men today are lost, and it is so sad to me that it seems like almost every man these days cheats. I have already resigned myself to never having kids, because I know if I do, I will be left as a single mom. Ive seen it happen multiple times. There is a code of honor that has been forgotten. Dating apps make cheating so easy. When the female species decides not to procreate because the male species isnt sticking around with honor, integrity and commitment, thats when you know something is wrong.
