In one of the extra episodes on season 10, they say Luke took a group to Oceanside. It's just a throwaway line, but that means they are back from wherever they were when Virgil went there.

You know what happened to all those characters? Reedus took their parts and all the money. He's the William Shatner of the Walking Dead.

This is the one flaw I can never get over with this show, you often have all these different kinds of characters who up and disappear for almost an entire season because the actors get other work it really just pulls me out the immersion of the story and this world, especially every season when we get random new extras as community members we've never seen before or Will see again. This is something they really should have focused and worked on better each season especially going into the final season but still I take the bad with the good, and this season has been great so far.. but I honestly think they should have and still should start killing off all these extra Side characters that amount too nothing, that Archer girl from the kingdom I forget her name she is still around and for what reason she would have been a perfect death in the Whisperer War, I think alden should have been killed in the final battle of the whisper War as well, and how about that black alexandrian extra?, the bald guy with the goatee he has been around since season 6 and has done absolutely nothing but pop up randomly he should have been a death in the Whisperer War as well.. too many Side characters. Start the killing😂
