How do you think The Walking Dead should have ended?

Rick: shot
Carl: shot twice
Judith: shot
Everyone who wears that hat gets shot

I was done when Carl died.
The whole point of the show was Rick trying to protect his wife and son.
Once they were gone, the rest of the show was moot, even judith.
So this was a nice re cap of what i didnt really miss. 🤷‍♂️

Like most of you here, I also didn't see the last couple seasons 😂

The "finale" was just a blatant ad for the spin offs. Dangling Rick out there but not really having him in the finale show was especially annoying.

Doesn’t look like I missed much. This show started out so strong. Probably stayed around 3 seasons longer than it should have.

I made it thru season 9. When Rick left, the show had no more soul. And I lost all interest.

Also the series ends with a family dinner. Remember when Negan told Rick after killing Glenn, that this story wouldn‘t end with a family dinner for them?
That‘s also the reason, Negan was abscent.

Rosita quickly became one of my favorite characters. I was devastated when we found out she was going to die. However after the show ended and she explained it was her idea to be killed off, it became a bit easier to swallow. Still bummed she didn’t make it though. She was such a badass

I think the problem with the series as it progressed was just losing too many corner stone characters

I noticed that the script significantly changed in the later seasons. It turned out that Frank Darabont got removed. So, that explains why.

The negan villain arc was sooo good everything after failed. And rick departure was the nail in the coffin

Neegan killing Glenn and Abraham was remarkable restraint. Not saying his leadership and relations with other communities was something to be proud of, but those two executions were the direct result of the Georgia crew attacking them and killing over two dozen people at the satellite station. The conflict was inevitable, but his actions, while brutal, were actually somewhat civilized. He could have easily slaughtered them all with overwhelming force. The Governor, Sanctuary, and the cops in Atlanta were MUCH worse, overall...

I use to love this show when it came out in 2010 and after season 7 it just changed and I lost interest. I always pictured the way it would finally end is everyone turning into a walker. No more humans left in earth since everyone was going to die sooner or later, it just made it more realistic

You could see Daryl's sense of family starting in season 2 when he tries all he could to find Sophia. He was only an ass at the beginning because Merle had convinced him he was nothing, and when Merle wasn't around, Daryl could be the caring man he really was. You can tell I love Daryl <3.
I wanted to see Rosita's bite show the evolving virus and have her show walker behaviour while still alive. her death was too pretty.
Negan made up for what he did, Daryl saw that clearly, I wish Maggie could've too.
Why didn't Daryl get with That year skip was very disappointing

And I loved how they made Judith a total badass when it showed her grown up but then it was like she was just a scared lil girl in the last few episodes!

Loved this show back in the day. And loved talking about the tough decisions they did. Glad I didn't stick around though after glen died.

I wish I could have hung on for the last few seasons but with Rick gone, I struggled to stay interested. My personal life was a mess too and I ended up missing episodes and finally gave up. I hope that one day I have time to go back and watch what I missed.

If it wrapped everything up, there wouldn't be 148 spinoffs coming up. This series will never die and, like the walkers, it should.

The Walking dead is an example of a series that should of ended when the main character left the show. Once Rick was gone from he show, it should of been over. Because people attach to him from the start and saw him grow, and loved the character. Once he left, if your spin off hasn't taken off, you needed to end the show. I didn't make it to Rick's final episode, because once I heard about it, and how they were going to keep going, I lost all interest in the show.
