We've hand fed our pup since he came home (now he eats by himself). He still puppy bites quite a lot, but he has learned the 'Toy!' command, so he grabs a toy instead of our hands.

Thank you for this tip I started feeding my beagle the day I got him he is such a slow and gentle eater now! He knows what gentle, touch, settle and sit is! I use sign language with him also so it makes him really understand what I expect from him. I thank you for sharing your tips!! They have made it so much easier to train my fur baby even if he gets stubborn and doesn’t want to listen I just wait a few minutes and he will follow my command’s we are still struggling with him getting too excited when company comes over and he jumps up on them. 😮 I’m sure eventually he will start to understand it’s not a good way to welcome anyone when they enter but it’s harder as we don’t get a lot of company since we moved away from our friends and family’s to our forever home 😎 again thank you for all your love for the fur babies and helping us love and raise our Sir Arthur in a nicer and safer way then our previous fur babies!😇🤗🥰

Good idea to stop biting. I Would really like to see a video to stop counter surfing. Our pup is a 8 month old deaf Dalmatian and she likes to steal napkins, paper towels, the latest was a plate of cooked bacon and anything else off the kitchen counter and wants us to chase her to get it back. Well everything but the bacon. She ate that.
