Can confirm, make sure that nut is out of the way or it’ll anchor in but the nut won’t break free. Had to cut and anchor bolt and install a new bolt on either side to anchor my post

you should NOT have to hit that nut in hard, if you do, expect those threads to be bent and knurled. If that happens, you will need a tap/die set and need to use the die to straighten out the threads.

Definitely don’t hammer on that bolt. Thread the bolt in at-least 1/4 inch below. So you don’t goof the threads.

Trying to remove these from the brick wall of my house and they have been in 20+ years. Not having much luck getting them out, may have to cut them off and knock them in or something.

How did you make the hole it went into?

Why you backing off the nut??? There's a whole 15mm of no thread when I drive a dynabolt I just bash the thing doesn't matter where the nut is as long as it isn't held on the bolt by one thread
