It's so clear the plaintiff witness is telling the truth because he just describes his sensory experience, ("I just heard a big crash", "I saw the car move down the street to the boulevard"). It's so rare to see on JJ, haha. It's usually completely editorialised "he had initially asked me to take his car, and I didn't even want to at first because I had given my brother a deposit, but there's no way I could have hit the plaintiff because I'm a single mom". 🤣

This is the best channel for Judge Judy I subscribed to. The episodes are "as is." There is no close ups and fast angles that would makes eyes goes crazy. Those episodes are irritating.

I'm surprised she didn't just end it when they said the guy driving the car couldn't come. Usually if one party doesn't show up, the other wins by default.

I always pause the video whenever Judy's reading something, and I got an early look at the "answer." The judge was spot-on--it's like a parody of a joke you'd find in a bad sitcom. Just wait till you hear this! (In part 2, presumably...)

That exact thing happened to my car. It got hit and moved down the street, but no one saw it. The police couldn't do anything because there were no witnesses and I had to get it fixed on insurance.

I definitely believe they swapped drivers but I can't understand why come back at all if you're not going to stop. I will always advocate for doing the right thing, but if you're going to do the wrong thing, don't compound it by being stupid.

Either stop and exchange information or don't return to the scene to make sure people saw you do a hit and run.
