As someone who commutes to work on a bike, I'm constantly looking out for vehicles and pedestrians. I also study up on the laws for my area for cyclists to know what I can and cannot do.

Sign or not, When a vehicule cross lane they should always check for others on that lane (he crossed the bicycle lane while turning right) at least where i am the blame would've been on the driver regardless of the signage.

Usually with cases like this, it is the cyclist's fault because they aren't obeying traffic laws, and the plaintiff comes in with irrefutable evidence of such. Pretty ballsy of this guy to come to court when he clearly was in the wrong lol (based on what I see here, may get surprised in the next vid)

I live in Australia. One of the rules in the book says. Always give way to pedestrian. Even if your pissed. Give at least a metre away from cyclists.
