10 Top Gun Commercials

Top Gun Maverick with Tom Cruise resp. Top Cruise is around the corner, so I made this video with Top 10 Top Gun commercials - ads, no movie trailers. I hope you enjoy them! First, I wanted to make a video with Tom Cruise commercials only but surprisingly Tom has almost no commercials at all. So I went for Top Gun. Here it seems similiar: One would expect one million commercials, yet there are only few. The movie has been so influential - from the Need for Speed to the Beach Volleyball scene and many others - yet there are no Ray Ban commercials, no Kawasaki ads etc. regarding Top Gun available. I think that shows how powerful the movie is, you don't need any commercials, it's enough being in it, on the other hand it leaves us without the good stuff - adverts.

That's why I used commercials for brands and products from Top Gun 2 as well as from Top Gun 1, some of them real oldies but goodies. There are also commercials that are Top Gun themed only but this is even more important because it proves what a milestone in advertising Top Gun has always been.
